Love Arya, but her killing the night king felt like fan service, but also unnecessary subversion. Even if Jon fighting and killing the night king is fan service its fan service done right. Jamie Lannister negotiates with Cersi not saves her: have tyrion convince dany to send Jamie to talk with cersis. They can have some back and fourth banter

Caz_M • 7 yr. ago. I wouldn't say it's as bad as some people say, in fact I thought it at least started off really well. Sadly it got worst as the season progressed. I'd describe the ending as disappointing and while I get what the writers were going for it wasn't even close to what the fans wanted to see.

Season 8: this drop chasms down to depths you didn't think possible. The writing has got so amateurish that the still-fantastic production values are no longer enough to save it. If you ever enjoyed Lost but were amazed at how bad the final season was, you're in familiar territory here. The entirety of Game of Thrones’ final season requires you, on some rock-bottom level, to buy the character arc of Daenerys Targaryen, and with “The Iron Throne” under our belts, I feel more One Reddit user has come up with a fascinatingly simple fix for Jaime's ending. After 8 seasons "Game of Thrones" has come to an end, but a lot of fans are not pleased about it. The final season has been widely criticized, and justly so

People have been blind to the decline of the show since season 5. The only reason season 8 is getting the hate it did is because it ruined Dany's story for a lot of people. However, the signs have been there for years that the show was getting worse every season after season 4. 9.

Everyone talks about how terrible it is and some people hate it so much that it seems like they
Seasons of Doctor Who usually have a couple of really bad episodes (the pirate curse episode and Love and Monsters, for example). To make up for it, the rest of the episodes tend to be very good. I don't know what the general consensus here is, but I feel like there were soooo many bad episodes in season 8.
With "Young Griff" and "Quentyn", Dany becoming the Mad Queen would have made much more sense. (I won't go into detail on these, because I don't want to spoil the books for people here.) Too bad we only got 8 Seasons instead of the 12-14 GRRM suggested. 9S440DH.
